Getting the most out of your tracking
Two ways to look it up
The tracking number heads the dispatch email we send the moment your parcel leaves us, and every order in your account carries it too. No luck finding either? Your order number starts with RKSAU and works just as well in the box above.
A quiet start is normal
The number is live from the moment the label is made, but the timeline stays empty until the parcel is physically scanned. Seeing nothing for the first few days after dispatch is routine and says nothing about whether your order is on track.
Repeated facility scans are progress
Australia Post scans a parcel at each facility it passes through, so entries naming a couple of different sorting centres are the parcel moving across the country rather than sitting still. The postcode on the last entries is your own delivery area.
Nobody home on the day
Seeds ship without a signature, so the driver will use a safe spot at the address wherever there is one — that is what "left in a safe place" means on the timeline. Where there is not, a card points you at the post office or parcel locker holding it. Take the card and photo ID to collect.
Distance still costs days
Metro Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth settle fastest. Regional WA, the Northern Territory, far north Queensland and Tasmania routinely add several days on the final leg, and each state public holiday pushes the whole run back a business day.
When it is worth a message
If about a week passes with no new entry at all, reply to your order email with your order number. Chasing it from our end is faster than you queuing at a post office counter.
